Use the Rental Mobile Operations app to assist you, as a field engineer, in your service and maintenance tasks.

With the Rental Mobile Operations app, you can, for example:

  • Find the tasks that are assigned to you from D365 FO.
  • Find the related work locations.
  • Do the tasks that are assigned to you.
  • Inquire task-related information.
  • Register task-related information like parts, hours, and fees.
  • Create work orders.

The Rental Mobile Operations app home page has several options:

Icon Name Description
My schedule Shows an overview of all tasks that are assigned to you. Use this option to start and register your work on the assigned tasks.
My task map Shows the work locations of the tasks that are assigned to you. From here, you can start the navigation to these work locations.
My notifications Shows a list of all notifications.
My completed work Shows all tasks that you have completed.
My objects Shows the business objects that are related to the tasks that are assigned to you.
  Create work order You can create a work order and assign it to yourself.
Settings You can synchronize data between the Rental Mobile Operations app and D365 FO. Usually, you use this if the work is done at an offline location.
