Rental counting journals help you correct registered on-hand inventory for assets or asset groups. You can then post the physical count to reconcile any differences.

If the Period code is selected, enter the interval (in days) in the Counting period field. Procedure 1. Go to Business objects > Journals > Rental counting. 2. Click New. 3. In the Site field, enter or select a value. 4. In the Warehouse field, enter or select a value. 5. Click OK. 6. Close the page. If the interval is 7 days and the last count was on January 1, running the job on January 5 does not create new lines. Running it on January 8 does, because the interval has passed. Procedure 1. Go to Business objects > Journals > Rental counting. 2. Click Create lines. 3. Click Rental items. 4. In the Counting group field, enter or select a value. 5. Click OK. 6. Close the page. Print Counting List Print Counting List Print the Rental counting list report to review rental counting journal details. You can run the report from the Business objects > Rental counting > Print > Counting list page. You can choose to include or exclude the current rental quantity in the report. Procedure 1. Go to Business objects > Journals > Rental counting. 2. Click Print. 3. Click Counting list. 4. Select Yes in the Print on-hand field. 5. Click OK. 6. Close the page.
