For consumption-based billing items, the price is retrieved from the Rental agreement.

You can set up two types of consumption prices:

• Consumption-charge – Price per consumption unit
• Consumption-driven – Rental price per day, where consumption value determines the price tier

You can define both price types for the same rental type and consumption group in the Rental agreement.

In the invoice profile, select the consumption price type to be applied. When selected on the rental order line, this type is retrieved and calculated on the rental line.
