Manage business object

For each business object, you can define or change these settings:

  • Rental type
  • Fleet number
  • Depot
  • Location
  • Availability 
  • Owner

You can add or change the business object locations. Procedure 1. Close the page. 2. Close the page. 3. Go to Business objects > Business objects > All business objects. 4. In the list, mark the selected row. 5. Click Change location. 6. Click Other address. 7. In the list, find and select the desired record. 8. Click OK. 9. Click OK. Change availability on business object Change availability on business object You can change the business object availability. If, for example  a business object is damaged then you can set its  availability to No. Procedure 1. Go to Business objects > Business objects > All business objects. 2. In the list, find and select the desired record. 3. Click Change availability to open the drop dialog. 4. In the Reason code field, enter or select a value. 5. In the Reason code field, enter or select a value. 6. Click Change. Change date on the business object Change date on the business object You can change the on-rent dates of a business object. You can change the first on-rent date as well last on rent date. Procedure 1. Go to Business objects > Business objects > All business objects. 2. In the list, mark the selected row. 3. Click Change dates to open the drop dialog. 4. Select Yes in the Change first on rent date field. 5. In the First on rent date field, enter a date. 6. Select Yes in the Change last on rent date field. 7. In the Last on rent date field, enter a date. 8. Click Change. 9. In the Last on rent date field, enter a date. 10. Click Change. Change owner on the business object Change owner on the business object You can change the physical ownership of a business object. You can change the ownership from one entity to another entity. Procedure 1. Go to Business objects > Business objects > All business objects. 2. In the list, mark the selected row. 3. Click Change owner to open the drop dialog. 4. Select Yes in the Change physical owner field. 5. In the Physical owner field, enter or select a value. 6. Click Change. Change rental type on business object Change rental type on business object A rental type groups business objects with similar characteristics. For example, cranes or excavators. On creation of a business object, the rental type can be copied from the product. You can change the rental type of a business object. Procedure 1. Go to Business objects > Business objects > All business objects. 2. In the list, find and select the desired record. 3. Click Change rental type to open the drop dialog. 4. In the Rental type field, enter or select a value. 5. Click Change. Change fleet number on business object Change fleet number on business object You can use a fleet number to group assets in your company. You can change the fleet number of a business object. For example, you change it when it expires. Procedure 1. Go to Business objects > Business objects > All business objects. 2. In the list, find and select the desired record. 3. Click Change fleet number to open the drop dialog. 4. In the Fleet number field, type a value. 5. Click Change. Change depot on business object Change depot on business object A depot is a place to store large quantities of equipment, food, or goods. You  can change the depot of a business object. You can also change the related start date and end date. If you change to a new depot, you must enter the start date Procedure 1. Go to Business objects > Business objects > All business objects. 2. In the list, find and select the desired record. 3. On the Action Pane, click Business object. 4. Click Change depot to open the drop dialog. 5. Select Yes in the Change depot field. 6. Select Yes in the Change start date field. 7. In the Depot field, enter or select a value. 8. In the Depot start date field, enter a date. 9. Click Change.

You can change the fleet number of a business object. For example, you change it when it expires.

Change depot on business object

A depot is a place to store large quantities of equipment, food, or goods.

You  can change the depot of a business object. You can also change the related start date and end date. If you change to a new depot, you must enter the start date
