What’s new
New or changed features in Release 10.0.48.56 (July 2026) – RapidValue.
1. Test case reattach toggle prevents duplicate scenario names
Feature overview
In the Design Test Suite, deselecting and reselecting a scenario activity (for example, to reorder activities) appended a duplicate scenario name each time. This occurred because each selection generated a new name based on the previous one, rather than reattaching the existing item, and repeating this action resulted in the same name appearing several times.
A new toggle, Test case reattach, has been introduced in the RapidValue Parameters to control this behavior. When enabled, deselecting and reselecting a scenario activity will prioritize reattaching the existing item instead of creating a new one for each cycle, preventing duplication.
Key benefits
Duplicate prevention: The new toggle stops repeated selection and deselection of a scenario activity from creating multiple copies of the same name.
Configurable behavior: The reattach behavior can be turned on or off in the RapidValue Parameters, so you can control how scenario activities are handled.
Cleaner test suites: Design Test Suites stay free of redundant scenario names, reducing confusion during test design.
Note
Saving is required between changes, to reflect the actual state.
This feature was added as a result of change request CS00238158.
Bug fixes
Bug fixes in Release 10.0.48.56 (July 2026) – RapidValue.
Bug Number | Title | Description |
|---|---|---|
239465 (CS00239823) | Publishing flow specifications to file store fails on UAT | Resolved an issue where publishing flow specifications to the file store via RapidValue > Setup > Processes > Flows resulted in an error on UAT environments. You can now successfully publish flow specifications to the file store without encountering errors. |
237339 (CS00239251) | Business Process publishing fails with “403 Forbidden” error | Resolved a persistent issue where publishing a Business Process would fail with “The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden” and “Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation” errors. Business Process publishing now works correctly. |
226761 (CS00237717) | Broken images in RapidValue Process flows | Resolved an issue where application images embedded in RapidValue Process flows would not render correctly, causing them to appear broken or lose their visual connection to the process flow. Process flow images now display as expected. |
239960 (CS00239411) | Screen unexpectedly jumps to sections when navigating Requirements | Resolved an issue where navigating to a different Requirement would cause the screen to unexpectedly jump between form tabs. The screen now correctly maintains the expected navigation position when switching between Requirements. |
241572 (CS00240054) | Attachment count not reflecting correctly on Requirements | Resolved an issue where attachments added to a Requirement were visible on the search landing screen but showed an incorrect count of “0” when opening the Requirement detail view. Attachment counts and visibility are now consistent across the search listing and the Requirement detail screens. |
226758 (CS00237772) | Extended character limit on field names for Tests and Requirements | Expanded the character limit on field names related to Tests and Test Suites, to reduce truncation when reporting defects from tests. Please note that truncation may still be encountered in cases where exceptionally long names are used, as further expansion of these fields could negatively impact system performance. |
