Export workflow
Application task

You can export a workflow to a data (DAMDATA) file. So, you can import it in another Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations environment.

If you export a workflow, all related setup is included in the data file.
You can find and download the created data file on the File share workspace, on the Data files tab.


Standard procedure

1. Click Action and document management design.
2. On the Process flows tab, in the list, click the link of the desired record.
3. In the Workflows section, in the list, find and select the desired record.
4. Click Export.
5. The default file name is the name of the selected workflow. You can change this as desired.
  In the File name field, type a value.
6. In the Description field, type a value.
7. Click OK.
8. Close the page.
9. Sub-task: Download exported workflow.
  9.1 Click File share.
  9.2 Click the Data files tab.
  9.3 In the list, find and select the created data file.
  9.4 Click Download.
