You complete these steps after the **ECM+ Impact Agent** is available to you, so that the agent points at your data and uses a working connection. > [!NOTE] > Note > > The STAEDEAN ECM+ Impact Agent reaches you in two parts: a D365 deployable package that you install in **Finance and Operations**, and the STAEDEAN ECM+ Impact Agent solution that you import into **Power Apps**. This section covers the Power Apps part. The Finance and Operations package and its related setup are covered in the ECM+ Impact Agent installation guide. ## What the STAEDEAN ECM+ Agent solution contains The STAEDEAN ECM+ Impact Agent solution packages everything the agent needs into a single export. When you import it, it creates a solution named STAEDEAN **ECM+ Impact Agent** that holds the same objects STAEDEAN delivers. The solution includes the following: - The **ECM+ Impact Agent**, which is the agent you configure and use. - A set of **Custom API** objects that the agent calls to run each analysis, together with their **Custom API Request Parameters** and **Custom API Response Properties**. - **Connection references** and **Agent components** that the agent relies on. > [!NOTE] > Note > > You do not create or edit these objects. They arrive ready to use inside the imported solution. Your configuration work happens on the agent tools. ## Agent tools included in the solution The **ECM+ Impact Agent** runs its analyses through tools. You find these tools on the **Tools** tab of the agent in **Copilot Studio**. The solution provides the following tools: - **Ecm Plus Sales Order Impact Drill-down (Details) 2** - **Ecm Plus Product Impact Analysis (by Product ID)** - **Ecm Plus Staging Journal Line Impact Analysis (Business Impact)** - **Ecm Plus ECO Line Impact Analysis (Business Impact)** - **ECM Look up** The first four tools are connector tools. Each one uses a **Microsoft Dataverse** connection and points at a specific environment, so you set the connection and the environment for each of them. The **ECM Look up** tool is a Model Context Protocol tool and you leave it at its delivered settings. ## How the agent handles your data During and after setup, the agent reads your data, runs the analysis, and returns the details. The agent does not change your data. - The agent supports read and analysis actions only. - The agent does not create, update, or delete records. > [!NOTE] > Note > > Creation, update, and deletion stay disabled by design. This keeps the agent safe to use, because it reports on your data without altering it. ## Prerequisites Before you start, make sure that the following items are in place: - You have the STAEDEAN ECM+ Imapct Agent solution file provided by STAEDEAN. - You have installed the D365 ECM plus deployable package (10.0.48.1) in **Finance and Operations** and completed the related setup described in the ECM+ Agent installation guide. - You know the name of the environment where you installed the ECM+ models. You use this environment name when you configure the agent tools. - In **Feature management**, the (Preview) **Custom API Generation** feature is enabled. - You know the name of the environment where you installed the ECM+ models. You use this environment name when you configure the agent tools. - You can sign in to **Power Apps** at make.powerapps.com and open **Copilot Studio** for that environment. - You can create or reuse a **Microsoft Dataverse** connection and authenticate it with your credentials. > [!NOTE] > Note > > After deploying the ECM plus to your environmeent, flush the extension cache. The cache is flushed automatically as part of database synchronization. Alternatively, you can flush it manually by running the `SysFlushAOD` class in your environment. > > To run `SysFlushAOD`, add the class runner parameters to your environment URL: > > `https://<environment>.operations.dynamics.com/?cmp=usmf&mi=SysClassRunner&cls=SysFlushAOD` ## Setup task sequence Complete the setup tasks in this order.
