Set up a shared category to use in your company or other companies. This is required before you can set up project categories.
Steps
Go to Project management and accounting > Setup > Categories > Shared categories.
Click New.
In the Category ID field, type a value.
In the Category name field, type a value.
Select Yes in the Can be used in Project field.
Note
Select other options as required for your needs for Production or Expense.
Click Save.
