# Remove a kanban job - Impact workspace

Use **Delete kanbans** to remove a kanban job that should no longer be executed. For example, remove a job when planning must create a replacement based on the updated product structure.

## Steps

1. Go to **Product information management > Engineering change management > Engineering change orders**.
2. Open a released ECO you want to review.
3. On the Action Pane, in the **Business impact** group, select **Open impact workspace**.

The workspace opens for the selected ECO.

> If the ECO has no lines yet, the button is unavailable. Add at least one affected product first.
4. In the **Kanban jobs** section, locate the affected kanban job.
5. Select **Delete kanbans**.

The **Delete kanbans** pane opens on the right.
6. Review the kanban ID, job status, item number, and quantity.
7. Review the deletion warning.
8. Confirm that any related inventory or picking transactions can be reversed or removed.
9. Select **Confirm** to remove the job.

To close the pane without removing the job, select **Cancel**.

After the job is removed:

- The kanban job is removed from active planning.
- The record is removed from the kanban jobs list in the impact workspace.
- An entry is added to the **Change log**. For more information, see [Track actions in the change log](/manufacturing/docs/track-actions-in-the-change-log-impact-workspace).
