Add only parent items to the staging journal. Do not include BOM lines or routes.
Verify that engineering versions and BOMs are set to Active.
Disable Run BOM check in both engineering and logistical companies.
Avoid parallel posting to the same target company.
Set Max levels based on the required BOM levels.

Import parent items into a staging journal with the Import release scenario.
Specify the Target company.
Run Post release staging journals. The system releases BOM and routing structures through parent item releases.
