Find information on the 10.0.45.21 (February 2026) release of Project Control Suite - Asset Management (PCS-AM).
What’s new
New or changed features in release 10.0.45.21 (February 2026) - Project Control Suite - Asset Management (PCS-AM).
Role ID added to the Activity template data entity
The Activity template data entity now includes the Role ID field. Previously, the Role ID field was visible on the Activity setup page (Project management and accounting > Setup > Project control suite > Activity setup) but was not part of the data entity. This meant that when you exported activity templates through Data management, the Role ID value was excluded from the output file. As a result, you had to manually update role assignments after every data migration or environment transfer.
With this change, the Role ID field is included in both export and import operations for the Activity template entity. You no longer need to manually edit data after migrating activity templates between environments.
Key capabilities:
Export activity templates with Role ID included in the output file.
Import activity templates with Role ID values that are applied directly to the template.
Migrate activity templates between environments without losing role assignments.
Eliminate manual data corrections after setup transfers or data loads.
Bug fixes
Bug fixes in release 10.0.45.21 (February 2026) - Project Control Suite - Asset Management (PCS-AM).
Bug ID | Title | Description |
|---|---|---|
235030 (CS00239028) | Project invoice proposals generate error after 10.0.45 upgrade | After upgrading to version 10.0.45, opening any invoice proposal from the Project invoices page triggered an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error. The Header and Lines view feature, enabled by default in 10.0.45, caused this error. |
230949 (CS00238196) | Customer retention amount calculated incorrectly with subprojects | When creating an invoice proposal for a project with sub-projects, the system multiplied the retention amount by the number of subprojects instead of applying it once. |
229877 (CS00238266) | WBS filter removed after changing a field in Advanced WBS edit | Filters applied in the Advanced WBS edit page were cleared after changing task dates and saving. The filter now remains active after you update fields such as start date or end date. |
233170 (CS00238684) | WBS totals for hours and effort incorrect with dummy tasks | The system incorrectly included hours from dummy tasks (tasks without hour transactions) in WBS totals. This produced inaccurate totals for hours and effort, preventing reliable data validation during migration. |
234873 (CS00239014) | Cost variable IDs require exactly four characters | The cost variable ID field enforced an exact length of four characters instead of a maximum of four. You can now create cost variable IDs with fewer than four characters. |
238649 | Advanced WBS Admin security privilege missing for Open in Excel | The Advanced WBS Admin security role was missing the privilege for the Open in Excel menu items on WBS template lookup pages. The security privilege is now added to the relevant menu items. |
239180 | Test suite failure due to Dynaway form control name change | The Advanced Maintenance and Service test suite failed because Dynaway renamed the MROParmWorkOrderProjectSetup form control. The code is updated to reference the correct control name. |
239631 | Equipment model errors related to Dynaway models | Equipment model compilation errors caused by references to Dynaway models are resolved. |
Known issues
Known issues in release 10.0.45.21 (February 2026) - Project Control Suite - Asset Management (PCS-AM).
Issue | Title | Description |
|---|---|---|
1 | WBS ID discrepancies when maintaining tasks under root project | Although the WBS Ids are corrected using the new menu item, correct WBS ID for selected projects, there are more permutations to maintain/delete activities under the root node directly. Hence, it is a known issue that maintaining tasks under root project can create WBS ID discrepancies. |
