# Manage purchase orders - Impact workspace

The **Purchase orders** section of the ECO Impact workspace displays open purchase order lines affected by the selected ECO line.

Depending on the impact, you can:

- [Change the ordered quantity](/manufacturing/docs/amend-a-purchase-order-quantity-eco-impact-workspace).
- [Replace the affected item](/manufacturing/docs/replace-an-item-on-a-sales-order-line-eco-impact-workspace).
- [Cancel the remaining quantity](/manufacturing/docs/cancel-the-remaining-quantity-eco-impact-workspace).

## **Prerequisites**

Before you begin, make sure that:

- The impact calculation is complete.
- The affected line appears in the **Purchase orders** section.
- You have permission to modify purchase orders.
- The purchase order line has an open quantity.
- The purchase order isn’t restricted by workflow, change management, or another purchasing process.
