Compare multiple ECOs and PLM staging journals

Use the comparison capability to evaluate several engineering change orders or PLM staging journals at the same time. The agent retrieves the impact for each item and generates a side-by-side comparison that highlights the differences and similarities. Use this task to decide which change to process first when you have competing priorities.

Prerequisites

  • The ECM+ Impact Agent is accessible to you in Copilot chat.

  • The engineering change orders or PLM staging journals that you want to compare exist in the system, and you have access to them.

Steps

  1. Open the ECM+ Impact Agent in Copilot chat.

  2. Ask the agent to compare the items. For example, enter "Compare ECO-12345 and ECO-12346".

  3. Review the side-by-side comparison table that the agent returns. The table compares the severity, value, customers, and order counts for each item.

  4. Read the agent summary of the key differences and similarities.

  5. Use the comparison to prioritize which ECO or PLM staging journal to process first.

Results

  • You receive a side-by-side comparison table that shows the severity, value, customers, and order counts for each item.

  • The agent highlights the key differences and similarities to support your prioritization decision.

Note

You can compare between two and five ECOs or PLM staging journals in a single request.
