You may need different dimensions for different transaction types. For example, you might want site, warehouse, and version on sales orders, but only site and warehouse under **Inventory and supply**. Use the **Dimensions** button in each section to choose which dimension columns that grid shows. **Dimensions** is available in every section: **Inventory and supply**, **Sales orders**, **Production orders**, **Kanban jobs**, **Purchase orders**, and **Planned orders**. The setting applies only to the section where you change it. For example, hiding tracking dimensions in **Sales orders** doesn't change **Production orders**. The setting stays in place when you select another ECO line in the left pane. **Dimensions** doesn't change any data, and it isn't recorded in the change log. ## Available dimensions | Group | Dimensions | | --- | --- | | **Product dimensions** | Configuration, Size, Color, Style, Version | | **Storage dimensions** | Site, Warehouse, Location, License plate, Inventory status | | **Tracking dimensions** | Batch number, Serial number, Owner | ## Steps 1. Go to **Product information management > Engineering change management > Engineering change orders**. 2. Open the ECO, and on the Action Pane, in the **Business impact** group, select **Open impact workspace**. 3. Expand the section you want to change, for example **Sales orders**, and select **Dimensions**. The **Dimensions display** pane opens. 4. Select the check box for each dimension you want to show. Clear the check box for each dimension you want to hide. 5. To keep this selection, set **Save setup** to **Yes**. 6. Select **OK**. The grid shows only the selected dimension columns. **Example** In **Inventory and supply**, clear all product dimensions. Under storage dimensions, keep only **Site** and **Warehouse**, and keep all tracking dimensions. **Sales orders** still shows all dimensions, because each section has its own setting. ## Related - [Get to know impact workspace](/get-to-know-eco-impact-workspace.md)
