Set up project categories based on the shared categories. Make sure to select the category group that is used for equipment.
| 1. | Go to Project management and accounting > Setup > Categories > Project categories. | 
| 2. | Click New. | 
| 3. | In the Category ID field, enter or select a value. | 
|   | Note: Select the shared category you created for equipment. | 
| 4. | In the Category group field, enter or select a value. | 
|   | Note: Select the equipment category group. | 
| 5. | Select Yes in the Active in journals field. | 
| 6. | In the Default line property field, enter or select a value. | 
| 7. | Click Save. |
