As a store worker, you can order items for your store warehouse from the distribution center warehouses. You can use the Item ordering process of the Anywhere for retail app to create the inbound transfers from one or more distribution center warehouses to your store.
Set the parameters that apply to the Item ordering process of the Anywhere for retail app.
1. | Click Mobility management. |
2. | Click Anywhere app parameters. |
3. | Click the Retail tab. |
4. | Expand the Item ordering section. |
5. | You can allow to use the unit from the scanned GTIN on entering inbound transfer order lines. After scanning, the inventory unit is converted to the GTIN unit in the ‘Item ordering’ process. Example: 10 pieces are to be ordered. These are transferred in 2 boxes, each with 5 pieces. On entering the transfer line, you can scan 2 boxes. On save, these are ordered as 10 pieces. |
  | Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field. |
6. | By default, the items are ordered from the main warehouse as defined for the store to which the user is linked. You can allow to order items from other distribution center warehouses. If you do so, define the allowed other distribution center warehouses. |
  | Select Yes in the Allow other distribution center warehouses field. |
7. | For performance reasons, you can limit the number of items shown when you search for an item to be added to an inbound transfer. If the desired item is not shown, enter more specific search criteria. |
  | In the Maximum number of items in search field, enter a number. |
8. | Sub-task: Add allowed distribution center warehouses. |
8.1 | If ordering is allowed from distribution center warehouses other than the main warehouse, define the allowed other distribution center warehouses. |
  | Click Add. |
8.2 | In the Warehouse field, enter or select a value. |
9. | Close the page. |
