# Single sign-on

Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing users can access the Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing components by entering a username and password.

When the single sign-on is enabled, Life Sciences Weighing and Dispensing users are automatically authenticated based on their Active Directory credentials without the need to enter a username and password at each login.
