Life Sciences Supply Chain Management allows extracting the Security configuration in an Excel format. The Security matrix identifies the mapping between Roles and Duties/Privileges/Tables and between Duties and Privileges.
To perform the security matrix export, two different actions are available in the system:
Export security roles matrix (System administration > Periodic Tasks > Security > Export security roles matrix) – allows users to perform three different exports:
By selecting the “Duty” Task in the displayed dialog, it is possible to export information about duties assignment to roles. The downloaded excel includes two sheets: the “Duties” sheet lists all the duties with their included privileges, while the “Roles vs duties” sheet lists the duties assignment to roles in a matrix format.
By selecting the “privilege” Task in the displayed dialog, it is possible to export information about privileges assignment to roles. The downloaded excel includes the “Roles vs privileges” sheet, listing the privileges assignment to roles in a matrix format.
By selecting the “privilege per row” Task in the displayed dialog, it is possible to export information about privileges assignment to roles, where each privilege is contained in a separate excel row in the “Duties” worksheet. The downloaded excel includes the “Roles vs privileges” sheet, listing the privileges assignment to roles in a matrix format.
Export security roles permissions matrix (System administration > Periodic Tasks > Security > Export security roles permissions matrix) – allows users to export information about form and table permissions. The downloaded excel includes two sheets:
The “Roles vs Forms” sheet lists the form permissions directly assigned to roles in a matrix format, including each form’s access level value (Read/Update/Create/Delete).
The “Roles vs Tables” sheet lists the table permissions directly assigned to roles in a matrix format, including each table’s access level value (Read/Update/Create/Delete).
Both excels can be filtered for one or more roles or exported in different languages by selecting the desired filter or language in the export dialog.
