# Sampling warehouse

Life Sciences allows to define the default warehouse of the [dispensing orders created from a quality order](/life-sciences/docs/sample-preparation-via-dispensing-order) in the **Sampling warehouse** field of the **Quality associations** form (**Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance > Setup > Quality control > Quality associations**). If left blank, the **Warehouse** field in the dispensing orders will inherit the value from the quality order inventory dimensions.

Automatically generated quality orders inherit the **Sampling warehouse** field in the **Quality order** form (**Life Sciences Quality Control & Assurance > Quality management > Quality orders > General tab**) from the linked quality association.
