# Removed or deprecated features

Removed or deprecated features in STAEDEAN Life Sciences:

- A removed feature is no longer available in the product.
- A deprecated feature is not in active development and may be removed in a future update.

Before any feature is removed from the product, the deprecation notice will be announced in the release notes 12 months prior to the removal.

## Release 10.0.48.49 (June 2026)

### Feature: Allow next operations before quality order completion (Quality associations)

### Feature: "Quality order validation" electronic signature requirement

## Release 10.0.45.35 (September 2025)

### Feature: Security compliance

| **Status** | **Deprecated**. The feature will be turned off in STAEDEAN Life Sciences by January 2026, retaining the possibility to enable it. The feature may be removed starting from June 2026. It is recommended to move data to the SCS feature - a job to automate this process is planned to be available in January 2026. |

### Feature: Old layout for mobile device registration lines (Registration lines screen on a mobile device)

### Feature: Deployable package delivery via lsdocs.staedean.com website

| **Reason for deprecation/removal** | SDN is aligning the deployable package delivery process across the different products. Therefore, the STAEDEAN Life Sciences deployable package will be available to all partners and customers via Lifecycle Services (LCS). |

## Releases before 2025

### Feature: Multilevel supply profile report

| **Reason for deprecation/removal** | The Multilevel supply profile report will be deprecated in September 2025. The report is used to print the lot genealogy based on the Item tracing functionality. Since the September 2024 release of STAEDEAN Life Sciences, the lot genealogy can be printed using the new Item tracing report, that provides better performance and higher readability. |

### Feature: Grid layout of the Advanced mobile device inquiries

### Feature: Advanced mobile device security via DLL

| **Reason for deprecation/removal** | Using Microsoft DLL methods made the feature unstable and not properly working on new versions. Please enable the **Advanced mobile device security V2** parameter in the Warehouse management parameters form, Mobile device security tab, to use REST API call instead. |

### Feature: Item model group check methods

| **Reason for deprecation/removal** | To avoid managing multiple item model groups during customer mappings and keep it more finance and quality related, all the STAEDEAN Life Sciences check methods are grouped in the new Item check group form (**Inventory management > Setup > Inventory > Item check group**), and they will be removed from the Item model group form: - Approved manufacturer check method - Default use code - Approved customer check method - Container configuration check method - Approved use code check method - Approved storage condition check method - Approved storage attribute check method |

### Feature: Quality lead times in planning (Basic quality planning)

Microsoft deprecated the built-in engine in favour of the non-customizable Planning optimization service. The Quality lead times in planning functionality won't be supported by the Planning optimization service. |
