# Purchase receipt via mobile device

Life Sciences Warehouse Management enhances the purchase receipt process through the following functionalities:

- Capability to [manually or automatically generate containers (sub-batches)](/life-sciences/docs/sub-batch-generation-via-mobile-device) upon material receipt using a mobile device.
- Capability to see an [overview of batches and sub-batches that are being registered](/life-sciences/docs/registration-lines-screen-on-a-mobile-device) via a mobile device.
- Capability to assign [sub-batches types](/life-sciences/docs/sub-batch-type) (for example, sample type) upon material receipt via mobile device.
- Capability to print [product labels](/life-sciences/docs/product-label-printing-via-mobile-device) and/or [handling unit (license plate) labels](/life-sciences/docs/license-plate-label-printing-via-mobile-device) via mobile device to provide inventory identification.
- Capability to display the order’s intended [use code](/life-sciences/docs/use-code-controls-in-mobile-device-processes) and to assign the proper use code (for example, Clinical use, commercial use) to registered batches/sub-batches upon material receipt via mobile device.
- Capability to [hide the country of origin](/life-sciences/docs/hide-vendor-batch-information) information during the vendor batch registration via mobile device.
- Capability to [select the manufacturer](/life-sciences/docs/manufacturer-selection-upon-item-receipt-via-mobile-device) during the item registration via mobile device.
- Control on the [approved manufacturer upon purchase order receipt](/life-sciences/docs/approved-manufacturer-control-upon-receipt-via-mobile-device).
- Capability to receive [intercompany purchase orders with synchronized sub-batches](/life-sciences/docs/sub-batch-integration-in-intercompany-processes), with or without scanning each sub batch number.
