Life Sciences Advanced Finance Management adds the Project item requirement project category and Project item requirement inventory status fields in the Manage projects FastTab of the Released product details form (Product information management > Products > Released products > Released product details).
When a project item requirement is created automatically or manually, the value of the item’s Project item requirement project category / Project item requirement inventory status is transferred into the project item requirement’s Category / Inventory status field to provide reporting and functional advantages.
Exploded item requirements can also be used for BOM cost calculation. By specifying the chargeability of the exploded line item via inventory status, the information is transferred to the calculation and then considered at the upfront value calculation.
