# Production order deletion

Life Sciences Supply Chain Management aims to ensure comprehensive traceability across pharmaceutical products’ lifecycles. Disabling the **Allow deletion of ended orders** parameter in the **Production control parameters** form prevents the deletion of batch orders unless they are in a **Created** status. This change ensures critical data integrity and traceability, preventing unauthorized deletions that could impact product tracking and compliance.

It is possible to delete a batch order by resetting its status to **Created** via the **Reset status** button.

> If the **Allow deletion of ended orders** parameter is set to **Yes**, the standard behavior is applied, and users can delete batch orders with **Status** set to **Ended**.
