# Packing list report enhancement

Pharmaceutical companies are required to complete a packing list report for each shipment and also:

- Ensure that a copy of the packing list report contains the same information that accompanies the shipment of sensitive drugs from the original site to the final destination.
- Ensure the packing list report is submitted to the relevant regulatory agencies, whenever applicable.

Life Sciences Supply Chain Management enhances the standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management packing list report for shipments by adding the following additional traceability information:

- The **Sold To**, **Ship To**, **Ship from** addresses.
- Invoice-related information (**Invoice number**, **Invoice date**), useful in simplified sales and shipping scenarios.
- The **Mode of delivery** and **Way bill number.**
- The detailed content of the shipped **Containers**:
  - **Total Net Weight**, **Total Net Weight**, **Total Volume** of the shipment.
  - **Length**, **Width**, **Height**, **Volume**, **Net Weight**, **Gross weight** of each container.
  - Item and batch information from the products in the containers.

The **Packing list** report is also available for Electronic reporting customization.
