The operation release process allows users to release the relevant operations to manufacturing for execution, meaning that the formula lines linked to those operations can be moved, dispensed, and consumed.
For this reason, Life Sciences Supply Chain Management provides a Released checkbox in the batch order Formula lines form (Production control > Production orders > All production orders > Production order tab > Formula). Once the operation linked to the formula line is released to the warehouse, the Released checkbox is enabled.
The Released checkbox is also available in the Production route form (Production control > Production orders > All production orders > Production order tab > Route). Once the relevant operation is released to the warehouse, the Released checkbox is enabled.
The system warns users upon releasing the same operation again (that is, the Released checkbox is enabled). The Released checkbox is editable.
