Life Sciences Warehouse Management allows hiding the Country of origin fields as part of the vendor batch registration via mobile device.
This functionality is available for menu items with one of the following work creation processes:
Purchase order item receiving
Purchase order line receiving
Purchase order item receiving and put away
Purchase order line receiving and put away
Load item receiving
Load item receiving and put away
It is possible to hide the Country of origin fields upon purchase order receipt via mobile device by clicking the Vendor batch button in the related Mobile device menu items form (Warehouse management > Setup > Mobile device > Mobile device menu items) and setting the Hide country of origin parameter to Yes.
If the parameter is enabled, users will not be required to enter the Country of origin as part of the vendor batch registration. The field will be automatically left blank in the system, and the warning related to the empty country of origin will not be displayed. Warnings related to other empty fields and additional validations on mandatory fields are still displayed.
