Set up target group

If you send the same master data in the same way to several companies, you can group these companies in a target group. 

You are advised to use separate target groups for standard companies and external companies.

Steps

1. Click Master data management - Setup.

2. Click the Companies tab.

3. Click New.

4. In the Type field, select Target group.

5. In the ID field, type a value.

6. Expand the Target companies section.

7. Click New.

8. In the Company field, enter or select a value.

   Note

   To a target group, you can only add companies of type Standard or External.

9. Close the page.

Deleting company from target group

You can delete a company from a target group. However, a master data subscription can exist for the company. In this case, if you delete the company from the target group, you get these options:
