Go to **EDI** > **Setup** > **EDI parameters**. 2. EDI party validation is a mechanism in EDI Studio that ensures inbound EDI messages are processed and an EDI staging journal is created, even when required setup is missing. Missing setup can be the EDI party or document flow. Define how to handle missing setup for messages that import inbound EDI messages into an EDI staging journal. Options: On the **General** tab, in the **Ignore missing setup** field, select the desired option. > [!NOTE] > Note > > For specific messages, you can override the general setup. - **No**: Missing setup is not ignored for you inbound EDI messages. Running a message, with missing setup in the inbound EDI message, results in an error. No EDI staging journal is created. - **Yes**: Missing setup is ignored for you inbound EDI messages. Running a message, with missing setup in the inbound EDI message, creates a staging journal without an EDI party or related document flow defined. 3. Click the **EDI inventory order** tab. 4. By default, the EDI inventory orders page shows EDI inventory orders for all companies in the D365 F&SCM environment. You can have the EDI inventory orders page show the EDI inventory orders for the current company only. Select **Yes** in the **Show company-specific inventory order** field. 5. Click the **EDI transfer order** tab. 6. By default, the EDI transfer orders page shows EDI transfer orders for all companies in the D365 F&SCM environment. You can have the EDI transfer orders page show the EDI transfer orders for the current company only. Select **Yes** in the **Show company specific transfer orders** field. 7. Close the page. ## Related - [EDI party validation](/edi-party-validation.md) - [EDI studio security roles](/edi-studio-security-roles.md)
