1. Security compliance feature enhancement

This release introduces improvements to the Security Compliance Setup page in Security and Compliance Studio. The updates improve usability, extend security compliance rule applicability to new records, and enable organization-specific security compliance configurations.

• A redesigned layout makes security compliance setups easier to navigate and manage.

• Security compliance rules can now be configured for new records, existing records, or both.

• Rules can now be assigned to all organizations or to specific legal entities and organization hierarchies.

1.1 User interface redesign

The Security Compliance Setup page has been redesigned to provide a more intuitive experience. Security compliance setups are now listed in a left-hand panel, and the details of the selected setup are displayed in the right-hand panel. This replaces the earlier tabular layout with multiple tabs and improves visibility of setup details.

1.2 Security compliance rules for new records

A new Record Type field has been added to the Data Source tab for field-based security compliance configurations. This field is not applicable to form controls.

• New Record: Applies the rule only to newly created records.

• Existing Record: Applies the rule only to existing records.

• Both: Applies the rule to both new and existing records.

This gives organizations greater control over compliance behavior throughout the record lifecycle.

1.3 Organization assignment

A new Organization Assignment capability supports legal entity-specific security compliance configurations. Users can apply a rule to all organizations or assign it to specific organizations. When specific assignment is selected, users can choose individual legal entities or use the organization hierarchy to assign the rule to multiple legal entities.

2. Enhanced user continuous logs for detailed activity tracking

The User Continuous Logs feature now captures more detailed user activity. Previously, the logs captured only the screen or menu item accessed by a user. With this enhancement, the application also captures the specific operation performed by the user on the accessed page or menu item.

• The captured details can support future analysis of user behavior and access requirements.

This enhancement provides the foundation for the upcoming user role and license optimization capability, where detailed logs can be used to analyze user activity over a configurable period and suggest the most suitable roles with minimum license impact.
