Data entry workflow audit log
You can use the Data entry workflow audit log (unfiltered) Microsoft Excel file to get the field values audit log for all workflow tasks, regardless of the current filter or selection.
When downloaded, you can open the DewWorkflowFieldValueAuditLogEntity file from your downloads folder. You can reuse the DewWorkflowFieldValueAuditLogEntity file every time you want to check the audit log. You do not need to export it again.
Every time you open the DewWorkflowFieldValueAuditLogEntity file, you must register again. Registering connects the DewWorkflowFieldValueAuditLogEntity file to your D365 F&SCM environment. This is the environment where you run Data Entry Workflow. After you register, Microsoft Excel retrieves the latest audit log data.
Steps - Registration
Open the DewWorkflowFieldValueAuditLogEntity file in Microsoft Excel.
If the New Office Add-in dialog, click Accept and Continue.
In the Microsoft Dynamics dialog, click Sign in.
Enter your regular login credentials for your D365 F&SCM environment.
After you sign in, Microsoft Excel connects to the environment. Microsoft Excel then retrieves the latest audit log data.
Note
The more audit log data exists, the longer it takes to get the data and upload it to the DewWorkflowFieldValueAuditLogEntity file.
