Lock or unlock security role

You can lock a security role. So, it can't be used as a target role when roles are merged. If a security role lock is no longer required, you can unlock the security role.

Steps

  1. Click Security management.

  2. Sub-task: Lock selected roles.

    1. Click the Roles tab.

    2. In the list, find and select the desired records.

    3. Click Lock roles.

  3. Sub-task: Lock all roles.

    1. You can lock all security roles in one go.

      Click Locked security roles.

    2. Click Lock all roles.

  4. Close the page.

    1. Sub-task: Unlock role.

    2. If a security role lock isn't required anymore, you can unlock the security role.

      Click Locked security roles.

    3. In the list, find and select the desired records.

    4. Click Delete.

    5. Click Yes.
