# Initialize message mapping from form mapping

If you have finished the form mapping recording and reviewed it, you can use this to initialize the related message mapping.

As a result of the initialization, based on the form mapping:

- The recorded records and fields are added to the internal document of the message.
- The message record mapping and field mapping are set up.

After initialization, you can edit and fine-tune the internal document and the message.

### Steps

1. Click **Connectivity studio - Integration Design**.
2. On the **Message** tab, in the list, find and select the desired message.
3. Click **Edit**.
4. On the **Action Pane**, on the **Design** tab, in the **Message mapping** group, click **Initialize from form mapping**.
5. Close the page.
