# Import Connectivity studio parameters

If you have copied a database to the current environment and you first exported the **Connectivity studio parameters**, you can import these parameters.

As a result, the **Connectivity studio parameters** are automatically reset with the original environment parameters.

### Steps

1. Click **Connectivity studio - Integration Design**.
2. Click **Connectivity studio parameters**.
3. Click **Import**.
4. Click **Select configuration** to browse for and select the parameters XML file to be imported.
5. You can run the import of the parameters in the background. While the parameters are imported, you can continue with other activities in the environment.

Select or clear the **Run in background** check box.
6. Click **OK**.
7. Close the page.
