Export security role customization

You can export a customized security role. Only the security role customizations are exported.

As a result, an XML file is created with the security role customizations. The XML file is stored in the Security and compliance file share workspace.

You can use the XML file to import and use the security role customizations in another environment.

Steps

1. Click Security management.

2. Click the Roles tab.

3. In the list, find and select the desired security roles.

4. Click Export role configuration.

   Note

   You can export a security role customization only if the security role is customized. This is indicated by the Has customization field.

5. In the Name field, type the name for the XML file.

6. Click OK.
