# EDI transfer order to Transfer order

If EDI transfer orders are validated and approved in the **EDI transfer order** staging journal, these can be imported into the **Transfer orders** with a custom 'EDI transfer order to Transfer order' message. Usually, you run this message in batch. The message should automatically get the **Approved** EDI transfer order journals and update the related transfer orders with the imported information.

Set up a custom 'EDI transfer order to Transfer order' message with a:

- Source connector of type **Staging journal**.
- Source document of type **Staging**.
- Target connector of type **D365 F&SCM**.
- Target document of type **D365 F&SCM**. It should update the data of the **Transfer order** in D365 F&SCM.
