# Create file share for connector

For the Azure Storage Account, create a file share where data files are uploaded to or downloaded from.

> This file share setup applies to connectors of type:
> 
> - **Azure file storage**
> - **Azure file storage (API)**
> - **Environment comparison studio**

For the file share, you can create the required folders.

You can create folders that relate to the paths in the **Properties** section, the **Read** section, and the **File actions** section of the connector:

- Working
- Archive
- Error
- Split
- Copy
- Move
