Create field security policy version

Use field security policy versions to manage changes on field security policies.

You can create a new field security policy version, for example, if you have an active version and want to make changes to the field security policy. In this case, create a new version, based on the active version, and make the changes in that version.

Steps

1. Go to Dynamic field security management > Policies > All field security policies.

2. In the list, find and select the desired field security policy.

3. On the Action Pane, click Version.

4. Click New policy version to open the drop dialog.

5. In the Policy version description field, type a value.

   Note

   Field security policy versions are numbered automatically.

6. Click OK.

7. You can only create a field security policy version based on the currently selected version.

   Click Yes.
