# Carrier messages

Carrier EDI messages are the EDI messages that your company can send to or receive from a carrier.

In EDI Studio, you set up your side of the EDI message exchange with a carrier. So, you don't set up the EDI messages at your carrier. Of course, you set up your side of the EDI message exchange in close cooperation with your carrier. Because the exchanged data must match.

In this section, several carrier EDI messages are explained that are supported by EDI Studio.
