You can set up a notification email to inform a user when they are assigned a role that gives access to sensitive data. The email is sent to that user and, if defined, to other users as well.
The email notification is sent if you:
Note: If no applicable notification setup exists, no email is sent.
| 1. | Go to Security and compliance > Setup > Email Notification Setup > Sensitive role notification setup. |
| 2. | Click New. |
| 3. | In the Setup name field, type a value. |
| 4. | Define the email template for the notification. You can define your email templates in System administration > Setup > Email > System email templates. |
|   | In the Notification template email field, enter or select a value. |
| 5. | You can send the notification email to a user who is assigned a role that gives access to sensitive data. The email is sent to the address defined for the user in the user setup. |
|   | Select Yes in the Notify user field. |

Note: If you select No, the user is not notified. If additional users are defined, only they receive the notification. |
| 6. | In the Description section describe the notification email setup. |
| 7. | Define the roles that give access to sensitive data for which a notification email is sent when assigned to a user. |
|   | In the Sensitive roles section, click Add. |

| 9.1 | You can define other users who receive the notification email when a defined role is assigned to a user. |
