You can create requirements for business processes when you define the scope of the implementation project.


Standard procedure

1. Click Business process implementation.
2. Click the Scope definition tab.
3. Click Define scope.
4. In the tree, select 'the desired business process'.
5. Click the Requirements tab.
6. Click Add.
7. Sub-task: Add new requirement.
  7.1 On the New tab, you can create and add a new requirement to the current business process.
  7.2 In the Name field, type a value.
  7.3 In the Type field, select an option.
  7.4 In the Gap type field, select an option.
  7.5 Define the requirement priority using the MoSCow method.
  In the MoSCoW field, select an option.
8. Sub-task: Add existing requirement.
  8.1 You can select an existing requirement. The Existing tab shows all requirements for the current solution and its reference solutions.
  Click the Existing tab.
  8.2 In the list, find and select the desired record.
9. Sub-task: Add business process requirement.
  9.1 You can select an existing requirement that is assigned to a business process. So, you can easily find a relevant requirement for the current business process.
The By business processes tab shows all requirements that are assigned to a business process in the current solution or its reference solutions. For each business process and requirement combination, a record is shown in the list.
  Click the By business processes tab.
10. You can show only the requirements that are assigned to business processes to which the same flow is assigned as to the current business process.
  Select Yes in the Show requirements for flow field.
11. In the list, find and select the desired record.
12. Click OK.
13. Sub-task: Edit requirement.
  13.1 In the list, find and select the desired record.
 

Note: If you have added a new requirement, the requirement details are already opened. You can proceed with entering the description.

  13.2 Click Edit.
  13.3 In the Description section, enter a description of the requirement.
  13.4 In the Notes section, you can enter notes for the requirement.
  13.5 You can assign a requirement to these other records in your solution:
- Requirements
- Activities
- Applications
- Business processes
- Flows
- Questions
- Test suites
  Click the Relations tab.
  13.6 Click Add.
  13.7 Select the records to which you want to assign the requirement and click OK.
  13.8 Close the page.
14. Close the page.

Notes

On the Requirements tab, you can show requirements by:

  • Business process: Only the requirements are shown that are assigned to the selected business process. To do so, click Show, Business process.
  • Business process structure: Requirements are shown that are assigned to the selected business process and its child business processes. To do so, click Show, Business process structure.
