Assign copy of existing activity as procedure activity

Release notes

Before you record a scenario or a process flow, usually, you first assign a procedure activity to the relevant business process.

If you want to:

Model a scenario, you assign the procedure activity to a business process of type Scenario.
Record a flow, you can assign the procedure activity to any business process. Usually, this is a business process to which no flow is assigned.

This topic describes how to copy an existing activity and assign the copy as procedure activity.

Standard procedure

1.	Click Business process modeling.
2.	Click the Business processes tab.
3.	Click Edit hierarchy.
4.	In the tree, select 'a node'.
5.	Click the Procedure tab.
6.	Click Assign.
7.	On the Existing tab, in the list, find and select the activity that you want to copy.
8.	Click the Copy tab.
9.	In the Activity field, change the default activity name.
10.	In the Role field, enter or select a value.
11.	In the Area field, enter or select a value.
12.	The default type is Scenario.
	In the Type field, you can select another type.
13.	Click OK.
