For each master data entity, you can define which records are master records. To make a master data entity record a master record, subscribe it to a company. If a master data entity record has a subscription to a company, the record is defined as master data for that company.
| 1. | Click Master data management - Setup. |
| 2. | Click the Master data entities tab. |
| 3. | In the list, find and select the desired master data entity. |
| 4. | To open the list of records for the selected master data entity, click Available records. |

| 5. | You can define master records for one or more available records at once. |

Note: You can filter the available records by field value. The fields shown are the display fields as defined for the master data entity. A display field can also be a field from a table relation. |
| 6. | Click Create master data. |
| 7. | Select a company to create subscriptions to the available record. You can select companies of type:

|   | On the dialog, in the list, select the desired companies. |
