Run the master data messages to send released master records to the target companies or to the MDM staging journal. All messages, as defined for the master data entity, are run.

Standard procedure

1.	Click Master data management - Operation.
2.	Click the Master data tab.
3.	In the list, find and select the desired record.
4.	Click Send master data.
	Note: If you send MDM data for a master data entity, the master data entity messages process all Released master records of the master data entity.
5.	You can use a tracer to register what a message does when it is run. When a message has run using the tracer, you can review the registered actions in the tracer. Usually, you only use this for testing purposes. For example, to find issues in the message run.
	Select Yes in the Use tracer field.
6.	Sub-task: Set up batch processing.
6.1	Expand the Run in the background section.
6.2	In the Batch processing field, select an option. If Yes, also fill in the other fields.
6.3	If desired, you can set up the recurrence for the project.
	Click Recurrence and fill in the fields as desired.
6.4	Click OK.
7.	Click OK.

Notes

You can only run the MDM messages of a master data entity if you are defined as a data steward for your source company.
