You can use the EDI message setup wizard to:

| 1. | Go to EDI > Setup > EDI message setup. |
| 2. | Sub-task: Set up EDI setup for legal entities. |
| 2.1 | Make the desired changes to the EDI setup for legal entities. For more information, refer to Set up EDI setup for legal entity. |
|   | Click Next. |
| 3. | Sub-task: Import message file. |
| 3.1 | You can import the message to an existing project or to a new project. |
|   | In the Import message to project field, select an option. |

Note: When you click Next, a new project is created before the message is imported. |
| 3.2 | In the Project field, enter the name for a new project or select an existing project. |
| 3.3 | Click Next. |
| 4. | Sub-task: Compare and merge message files. |
| 4.1 | The imported message can already exist in the selected project. If so, the existing message and the imported message must be compared and merged. A message is shown on which you can choose to run the compare in the background or not. A message comparison can take a while. If you run it in the background, you can continue your work. |

Note: When you choose to run the message comparison in the background, the EDI message setup wizard is closed. You get a message when the comparison is finished. |
| 4.2 | Compare and merge the messages. For more information, refer to: |
|   | Click Next. |

Note: If you did not make any changes on the Merge messages tab, the existing message is not changed. |
| 5. | Sub-task: Set up EDI parties. |
| 5.1 | Make the desired changes to the EDI party setup. For more information, refer to Set up EDI for parties. |
|   | Click Next. |
| 6. | Sub-task: Set up document flows. |
| 6.1 | Make the desired document flow setup. For more information, refer to Set up document flows. |
|   | Click Finish. |
