You can export a field security policy to an XML file. With this file, you can import the field security policy in another D365 FO environment.
This topic explains how to import a field security policy from a file.
This setup is included in the import, depending on the contents of the file:
| 1. | Go to Dynamic field security management > Policies > All field security policies. |
| 2. | On the Action Pane, click Deploy. |
| 3. | Click Import policy from file. |
| 4. | Click Select configuration, browse for, and select the desired XML file. |
| 5. | You can run the import of a field security policy in the background. Usually, you do so if you import a field security policy with many elements. While the field security policy is imported, you can continue with other activities in the environment. |
|   | Select Yes in the Run in background field. |
| 6. | Click OK. |
