If a data quality policy is checked out in another environment, you can take over the check-out in the current environment. Only do this if the policy cannot be checked in from the other environment.

When you take over the data quality policy:

  • It is blocked for changes in the other environment.
  • Any changes made in the other environment are undone.
  • It is checked out in the current environment.
  • It receives a provisional change set number in the current environment that is two higher than the latest change set.
For example: If the latest change set is 4, the policy gets provisional change set number 5 when checked out in another environment. If you take over the policy in the current environment, it gets provisional change set number 6.
