You can use a dynamic query to define the possible options of a configurable lookup. To do so, set up a configurable lookup of type 'Dynamic query'.
1. | Go to Data quality studio > Setup > Configurable lookups. |
2. | Click New. |
3. | In the Configurable lookup ID field, type a value. |
4. | In the Description field, type a value. |
5. | In the Configurable lookup type field, select 'Dynamic query'. |
6. | Click Save. |
7. | Define the query and related settings for the configurable lookup. |
  | Expand the Dynamic query configurable lookup values section. |
8. | In the Dynamic query field, enter or select a value. |
9. | Define the field in the dynamic query which value is used to define the configurable lookup. |
  | In the Dynamic query lookup value field field, enter or select a value. |

11.1 | You can use a range to filter the values that a dynamic query gets. On a configurable lookup, the range filters the values that you can select when you use the configurable lookup. For a configurable lookup of type Dynamic query, you can define which of the dynamic query fields can be used as range. You can use these fields as ranges on a validation rule of type Configurable lookup. |
