Sign in to Data quality studio on Dataverse. 2. In the Site map, click Data Patterns. 3. Click New. 4. In the Name field, enter a descriptive name for the data pattern. 5. In the Data Pattern field, enter a regular expression that defines the data pattern. 6. In the Error Message field, enter the message that is shown when validation fails to match the data pattern. 7. In the Owner field, if desired, you can make changes. 8. Subtask: Test data pattern. 9. In the test Cases section, click New Test Case. 10. In the Input field, enter a test value. 11. In the Expected Result field, indicate if you expect the input value to fail or past the test. 12. Click Save & Close. Note: The test is automatically done. In the Test Cases section, you can compare the actual result with the expected result.
