In the Data modeling studio, a data model defines the data to be exported.

If a data model is set up, you can deploy the data model. You deploy a data model to prepare the target database for data exports.

On a data model, you can create a template based on one or several of the added data sets and data entities. You can use this template to easily add these data sets and data entities to another data model in the same D365 FO environment.
