Set up the connections for:

  • Power BI report: To make the Dashboard (BI) available in the Connectivity monitor app, connect the Dashboard (BI) to the 'Performance details cockpit' report.
  • Cloud flows: On installation of the Connectivity monitor app, several cloud flows are installed for which you must set the connection references.

Procedure 1. Sign in to Power Apps. 2. Open the environment where you installed the Connectivity monitor app. 3. Select Solutions. 4. On the Solutions page, click Default solutions. 5. Select Dashboards. 6. Select the Performance details cockpit dashboard. 7. Click Edit. 8. On the dialog, use these settings:Type: Power BI dashboardPower BI workspace: Select the workspace that is created on installation of the Connectivity monitor app.Power BI dashboard: Select the Connectivity monitor (UIPM) dashboard that is created on installation of the Connectivity monitor app. 9. Click Save. Set up Power Automate connection references Set up Power Automate connection references On installation of the Connectivity monitor app, several cloud flows are installed. For each of these cloud flows, you must: Change the owner to the earlier created Power Platform application user. Set the applicable connection references. Turn it on. Procedure 1. Sign in to Power Apps. 2. Open the environment where you installed the Connectivity monitor app. 3. Select Solutions. 4. On the Solutions page, click the Connectivity monitor (UIPM) solution. 5. Select Cloud flows. 6. Click a cloud flow. 7. On the Cloud flows > [cloud flow name] page, in the Details section, click Edit. 8. On the Details dialog, in the owner field, remove the current owner and enter the Power Platform application user. 9. Click Save. 10. On the Cloud flows > [cloud flow name] page, click Edit. 11. On a connection reference, click the dots and click New connection reference. 12. On the dialog, click Connect with server principal. 13. On the dialog, use these settings:Connection name: Enter a self-defined name for the connection.Client ID: The Application (client) ID of the earlier created Azure Active Directory application.Client secret: The Client secret - Value of the earlier created Azure Active Directory application.Tenant: The Directory (tenant) ID of the earlier created Azure Active Directory application. 14. Click Create. 15. Click Continue. 16. Click Save. 17. Go back to the Cloud flows > [cloud flow name] page. 18. Click Turn on. End End
